Booking a space

How do I book a space on SpaceHub?

Find the space you want, pick your date and time, enter your details, and submit. You'll receive payment instructions immediately. Once SpaceHub confirms your payment, your booking is locked in and the host is notified.

Can I book the same day?

Yes — many SpaceHub spaces support instant booking up to a few hours before the start time. The space card on the listing page shows "Instant booking" when this is available. Some spaces require host approval, which usually arrives within 1 business hour.

What if I need to book recurring sessions?

For recurring meetings or training rooms, you can either book individual slots or contact us via the Long-term page to set up a custom recurring agreement at a discounted rate.

Payments

How do I pay?

Payments are made directly to SpaceHub by either bank transfer (account details shown at checkout) or Juice by MCB to our merchant number. We do not accept credit cards on the platform.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes. All prices displayed on SpaceHub are inclusive of 15% VAT. Your invoice itemises the VAT separately for your records.

How long does payment confirmation take?

Once you complete the bank transfer or Juice payment, send us a confirmation. SpaceHub verifies receipt and locks in your booking within 1 business hour during working days.

Do I pay the host directly?

No. You always pay SpaceHub. We then pay the host on your behalf, net of the platform commission agreed with that host. This protects you with our cancellation and dispute policies.

Cancellations & refunds

What is the cancellation policy?

Each space sets its own cancellation policy — flexible, moderate, or strict — shown on the listing page. Flexible spaces refund in full if you cancel before the deadline (typically 24 hours before start). Moderate and strict policies have shorter or no refund windows.

What if the host cancels on me?

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, you receive a full refund and SpaceHub helps you find a replacement space at the same price or better. We take host-side cancellations seriously and they affect a host's standing on the platform.

How do I request a refund?

Cancel your booking from "My bookings" in your account. Refunds are processed by bank transfer within 3 business days of the cancellation being approved per the space's policy.

For hosts

How do I list my space on SpaceHub?

Create a host account, click "Add a space", and fill in details, photos, and pricing. Our team reviews new listings within 2 business days. Once approved, your space is live and bookable.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts are processed monthly by bank transfer. You receive a detailed payout statement (PDF) showing each booking, the gross amount, the commission applied, and the net payout. The statement is also downloadable from your host dashboard.

Can I set my own cancellation policy?

Yes. You choose between flexible, moderate, or strict for each space. The policy is shown to guests on the listing page and applies to all bookings of that space.

Safety & trust

How are hosts verified?

Every host submits business registration documents and an ID before their first space goes live. SpaceHub reviews each submission and only approves hosts who match their listings.

What if something goes wrong with my booking?

You can open a dispute from any booking page. SpaceHub's support team reviews evidence from both sides and resolves disputes within 5 business days, in line with our Dispute Resolution policy.

Are my payment details secure?

SpaceHub never stores card data — we only accept bank transfer and Juice by MCB, both of which keep your financial information with your bank, not on our platform.
